I really like reading other people's blogs. It's fun to read about the fascinating, silly, and/or mundane little tidbits that I wouldn't learn about my family and friends unless we spent ALL our time on the phone. Which isn't an option. This makes me feel like I also should blog, because of course, aren't you all fascinated by what goes on my life??
Unfortunately, I find I have no energy. All my energy particles have reduced to the lowest level and are holding steady there. There is no capacity for photon emission of any sort. Only the absolutely essential things get done, and they certainly get done much less efficiently and expeditiously and intelligently than they did before. I go to work. I eat. I go to the bathroom. I eat. And somehow all that makes me perfectly exhausted before I ever get home. Then I just try to find things to do that won't require any effort and will take only an hour or two, so then I can just get ready for bed and blissful sleep.
So basically, any motivation/energy/excitement/etc is used up while I am at work, and when I come home, there is only the cranky, whiny husk of myself. No clever thoughts, no motivation to clean up my slobby home, no desire to be with people where I will need to listen and exert myself. I feel a little guilty that I am nice at work and crabby at home. But then again, no one really comes to my isolated little cubicle.
I console myself that no one is really that interested in my life. So you don't really feel any lack by me not posting.
I'd like to add one final gripe here .... Yesterday someone told me I am bigger than the lady at work who is due in 5 weeks. I am not pleased with the number of people who have told me I am huge already. I really shouldn't be so sensitive about my new proportions, but I am. And I'm only going to be friends with people who say I am cute.
Maybe next week I'll be tired and friendless.

I understand the tiredness thing. My blog has been sorely lacking during this pregnancy. I was just thinking the other day that we needed to see some pregnancy photos of you. I promise to say that you look cute!
I feel you on the not blogging while pregnant issue. I didn't blog from April 13 wks preg until Dec, when Sophie was 2 months old.
Having said that, I want you to know that I am interested in your goings on...so please blog more! If you don't feel like writing, a few pics would suffice. If you post some pregnant Miranda pics I promise to comment on how sleek and trim you look. ;-)
Having seen a picture of you, I can say with all honesty that you look fantastic, adorable and beautiful! You are not big. I have been ginormous, so I know what I'm talking about. You are tiny... miniscule. And you have a very cute baby bump.
Miranda: You are beautiful and slim. and I love hearing about all the mundane things going on in your life. I'm begining to think our news is mundane too.
I forgive the lack of posts due to pregnancy because it would be rather hypocritical of me to not. I barely got my Christmas posts done because I knew I would regret not adding a few tidbits about Christmas in the long run. As we have still not publicized very widely our news (I'm not sure what I'm waiting for), at least you know the reasons behind my blog neglect. (p.s. I couldn't open the attachment you sent, so I'd love it if you posted a picture or two here... I'm getting so excited for you, too!!)
