So here are some pictures from Christmas day. Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures of the car getting stuck. And I'll have you know, it really only got stuck because our poor sedan wasn't made to drive through drifts more than a foot deep. We high-centered on the drifts. My only real assistance was the extra weight in the car. Ah, well. It made for a nice bonding experience and our home teacher was able to rescue us (in his niftly Jeep with 4-wheel drive) and bring us home to sleep in our own comfy bed (complete with excessive cushy pillows!).
Here is my handsome man beginning to shovel the drive. (We had to borrow the shovel.)
I just thought these drifts looked pretty cool. The snow wasn't sticky at all, so the wind was quite artistic.

Enjoyed the photos. Are you sure the reason the car got stuck in the snow wasn't because Dan was doing donuts in the middle of the street?
I'm glad you enjoyed your white Christmas. We had a white Christmas, too, but only because earlier snow was still there. We are now visiting Ian's family and enjoying the chaos (and evidently avoiding the big winter storm at home).
